It is touch sensative and gives me a fuzz sound over the top of my overdrive sound, kind of reminds me of some of the live Cream stuff where Eric was pushing his Marshalls to the point of almost fuzzing out. I mostly set it to sound like a FuzzFace but roll back the drive knob a pinch, I use it to push either my OCD or PlimSoul harder. It can do anything between sweet clean boost, light overdrive, heavy crunch, and right into different flavours of FuzzFace-style tones.
It’s amazing to see him animate some of the artwork. The world your character falls into is littered with ancient and abandoned alien technologies and definitely gives off a Sci-Fi vibe within a setting that also. Never has such a classic look, looked so polished, Heart Machine even included a sit down button just so if you want to soak in the serenity that is the world, you can. For those who think 16-bit should remain in the past I say, go play Hyper Light Drifter. This guy really has talent for pixel art, even though he has only been working on pixel art for a year or two. Never has 16-bit looked so good, Hyper Light Drifter takes on the best of the old and new. So, he came up with this Catalyst pedal and it can morph into a fuzz if need be but it gets along well with everything else on the floor.
